Amenities
A few minutes walk takes you into the centre of Teguise, a very quiet and serene small town. It was the capital of the island until 1852 but now is a residential haven for locals wishing to be removed from the bustle of tourism. It does come to life in a big way once a week for the islands Sunday market when it attracts people from far and wide for a few hours. Otherwise it is a delightful, quiet place with a village feel, some interesting sights, a few good quality shops and some very good restaurants and bars. Teguise is known as a living museum and there are a host of beautiful historic buildings to visit, Spinola Palace, Marques Palace and the Santa Barbara castle to name a few. The village is centred round the main square with the church of Our Lady of Guadalupe as its landmark. It is only a ten minute drive from Teguise to the un-spoilt village of Famara on the north west coast of the island. The large sweeping beach of Famara nestles under the cliffs of Los Riscos and is famous for surfing, boogie boarding and kite-surfing. It is also known as a naturist beach. The village itself is very small with a handful of local bars and simple fish restaurants. The holiday resort of Costa Teguise is a fifteen minute drive on the east coast and offers a larger selection of restaurants and bars along with five small beaches.

For clients staying longer than a week there is a weekly maid service and there is a mid-week towel change. The owner provides a complimentary welcome pack for guests on arrival.
